Whilst Power of Hands Foundation continues to help the lace makers of Galle to improve their lives by giving them better living conditions and developing their traditional skills with an aim to produce craft which is attractive to western markets, Power of Hands Limited is seeking to help selling the products on a fair trade basis. The sales of original lace items such as table cloths had always relied heavily on the tourist industry that collapsed in the wake of the Tsunami.
